hello,
i'm 16 years old and need to leave my problems behind and have fun. i need to take a long bike ride and never come bank to my home. i live in the suburbs of cincinnati. i need to leave. what do you, the ylf, think i should do? should i look at legal matters or just go with what i want to do? do i really have to wait until i'm 18 to live out my dreams? i'd hope not, but in the eyes of the state i sure do. what would your advise be...in order to liberate myself, why should i wait until i'm no loger a youth to do so? if i do just leave a note to my dad that i'm moving out then leave, where should i stay? and what kind trouble would that get me in? thanks for any input!

The answers to all of these questions really depends on what your situation is at home, what your parents are like, and what you want to do with your life. What are your dreams? Why do you need to leave? What sorts of things could you be doing here? In the end, you could choose to just straight up run away, but if your parents put out a missing child report this could be very tricky for you (and the people you stay with).
Since you're in Cincinnati, you should stop by Hoffner park in Northside this saturday evening. Folks get together there every week to hang out and talk about things like this.

What can you do if your parents put out a missing child report, and how do you find people to stay with?
