Yo. I am a kid anarchist. I need help. I am very bored with my life. Though I am not a drop out, I am on independent study and I have lots of free time. I live in San Francisco which everyone says is a left-crazy city. I severly lack social skills. How can I find kids to organize with? I've drawn up a couple of plans for what my local group would do. But these people probably aren't going to be in school, so how will I recruit?!

I recommend finding zines/websites/articles that you agree with an beginning correspondences with the authors through email or snail mail. Corresponding with radical prisoners can be really helpful as far as getting your thoughts together too (check out www.impassionedinsurrection.info/prisoners ). What are you interested in doing? What kind of plans do you have? I recommend putting some thoughts on paper, making a flier or zine, and giving it to people at shows or wherever. Find a few close friends to do things with. You might be able to find like-minded youth at Food Not Bombs sharings or events like the Jeff Luers critical mass ride that's coming up (email freejeffreyluers@resist.ca for more info about that). Drop the Youth Liberation Crew an email... getfreedropout@yahoo.com

I suggests that you make some stencils with some kewl messages and go around putting 'em up. hmm . . . perhaps, you can find some kewl events going on around your neighborhood where you can meet new people? i've found that people at infoshops (o yeah, you should visit these more often =) and anarchist events ten to be quite welcoming. o yeah, and wheat pasting is pretty fun as well . . . .=)
Good Luck!
